Overview
Testosterone Cypionate is an injectable form of testosterone with a cyclopentylpropionate ester. It is the most commonly prescribed testosterone in the United States for TRT.
Mechanism of Action
Upon injection, the ester is cleaved off to release free testosterone, which binds to androgen receptors, promoting protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and male sexual characteristics.
