Also Known As

Proxofim · FOXO4-D-Retro-Inverso

Overview

FOXO4-DRI is a D-retro-inverso peptide that selectively induces apoptosis in senescent cells. Blocks FOXO4-p53 interaction, causing p53 nuclear exclusion and cell death. Pioneering senolytic research compound.

Mechanism of Action

Disrupts FOXO4-p53 protein interaction in senescent cells. Causes p53 nuclear exclusion leading to cell-intrinsic apoptosis. D-amino acids provide enhanced stability and protease resistance.

Quick Reference

Common Dose 2-5mg/kg
Frequency Intermittent dosing (research)
Half-Life ~hours (enhanced by DRI)
Storage Refrigerate. Sensitive to degradation despite DRI modification.

Notes

All D-amino acid retro-inverso peptide. 46 amino acids. Expensive. Experimental senolytic - limited human data. Used in longevity research.
