Overview

BPC-157 is a 15 amino acid peptide derived from human gastric juice. Research suggests it may promote healing of various tissues including tendons, ligaments, muscles, and the GI tract.

Mechanism of Action

Believed to work through upregulation of growth factor expression (VEGF, EGF), angiogenesis promotion via VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS pathway, and modulation of nitric oxide synthesis.
